TIPS TO MAINTAIN THE IDEAL TEMPERATURE FOR A BETTA FISH

  • Check The Tank Size: The size of the tank matters a lot when you have a Betta Fish. 5 gallons seem to be and roomy for a beta, and less than two gallons may start to stress some bettas. A small tank will have temperature fluctuations that may be very difficult for the fish to survive in.
  • Get The Best Heater: A good heater is very important for creating the ideal temperature setting for the Betta fish. If the temperature is too hot then the fish may have a very fast metabolism and may eat more and start having digestion-related issues. If the temperature is too cold it may lower the metabolism of the fish and it may eat less and become very tired and lethargic.
  • Change In Water Temperature: A stable water temperature is very important for your Betta fish. It is generally seen that fishes are usually sensitive to the change in water temperature and it can make your fish very uncomfortable.
  • Have an accurate thermometer that is easily visible to keep track of the aquarium’s water temperature.
